Meeting point at Cologne Bonn Airport: arrivals hall and name sign
Terminal 1 and Terminal 2
At Cologne Bonn Airport you land at either Terminal 1 or Terminal 2; the arrivals information on the airport's website shows which one. According to the airport, arrivals at Terminal 1 are on the departures level, while at Terminal 2 they are opposite car park P2. Your chauffeur waits in the arrivals hall of your terminal, holding a sign with your name on it.
Flight number and 45 minutes' waiting time
Please give us your flight number when you book. We use it to follow your flight to Cologne Bonn and see when your plane actually lands, even if it is delayed. From that landing, 45 minutes of waiting time are included in the fixed price, giving you time to collect your luggage and make your way to the arrivals hall.
Flying out of Cologne
For the journey to the airport, your chauffeur collects you from your address in Cologne and takes you straight to your terminal. Your own car stays at home, so you will not need a parking space at the airport. In rush-hour traffic, allow enough time for check-in and security.
Cologne airport transfers to Koelnmesse and for business travel
Straight to Koelnmesse
The airport and Koelnmesse in Deutz are approx. 14 km apart, about 16 minutes' drive without traffic. For trade fairs such as ORGATEC, imm cologne, ISM or Anuga, your chauffeur takes you from the terminal straight to the exhibition grounds or to your hotel. For the journey back to your flight, your chauffeur collects you from the exhibition centre or your hotel.
Business travel and payment by invoice
If you are flying to Cologne for a meeting, you will not want to lose any time after landing: your flight is monitored and your chauffeur is waiting with a name sign, so the journey starts without any searching. Companies can pay by invoice via bank transfer. If your meeting is in another city, a city-to-city transfer with a chauffeur takes you straight there from the airport, anywhere in Europe.
Trade fair teams and delegations
For trade fair teams and delegations of up to 17, there is the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. It cannot be booked in the price calculator, so please send us a quote request with the date, flight details and number of passengers.
Cologne Bonn Airport: transfer, train or taxi?
S-Bahn and regional express trains
The airport has its own railway station close to both terminals. From there, S-Bahn (suburban rail) line S19 and the RE 6 regional express run to Cologne Hauptbahnhof, and the S19 also stops at Köln Messe/Deutz station by the trade fair's South entrance. With light luggage and a destination near a station, the train is a good choice; with several suitcases, trade fair luggage or a destination away from the line, changes and walking soon add up.
Taxi
Taxis wait in the taxi lanes in front of the terminals, so you do not need to book one in advance. However, you only find out which car you get once you reach the taxi lane.
AYDEN transfer
Your chauffeur meets you with a name sign in the arrivals hall and drives you to the door with no changes, whether you are heading for the old town, Deutz or the edge of the city. The price is fixed when you book, and traffic jams or diversions do not change it. Travelling as a team, with lots of luggage or a tight schedule, the transfer is usually the more relaxed choice.
