What is a trade fair shuttle?
A trade fair shuttle is a scheduled chauffeur service for the days of a trade fair: chauffeurs take stand staff, customers and delegations between the airport, railway station, hotel and exhibition centre according to a fixed schedule. Instead of each team member hunting for a taxi in the morning or queuing outside the car park, your team travels to the fair together and back again in the evening.
At AYDEN, every ride is driven by a certified chauffeur with a passenger transport licence. For corporate events away from the fair there is our event shuttle, and for single rides to and from the airport our airport transfer.
Planning your trade fair shuttle service: vehicles and runs
How many vehicles your trade fair shuttle service needs depends on the size of your team, where the hotel is and the opening hours. First Class seats 2 people, Business Class 3 people, the Business Van – the Mercedes-Benz V-Class – 6 people, the SUV 3 people and the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter up to 17 people.
Example: a stand team of 20
For 20 people travelling together from the hotel to the fair in the morning, one Sprinter and one Business Van are enough in a single run. If the team travels in shifts – set-up crew earlier than stand staff, for instance – one vehicle can do two runs. We check which vehicles are available for your fair dates when you send your request; all classes are compared in the vehicle fleet section.
From request to dismantling: how it works
1. Request
You tell us the fair, the dates, the size of your team, the hotels and the departure times you need – by phone, by email or via the request form.
2. Quote and shuttle plan
We check availability, put together the vehicles and send you one quote for every day of the fair. Once you confirm, you receive a timetable with departures from the hotel and from the fair.
3. During the fair
The chauffeurs drive to the timetable. If an appointment changes, you speak directly to our team rather than to a call centre. Single rides – a customer to dinner, for example – can be booked around the clock.
