Trade fair shuttle service in Berlin: grounds, entrances and CityCube
Messe Berlin by the Funkturm
Messe Berlin is in Charlottenburg-Westend by the Funkturm radio tower, with its own Messedamm motorway exit at the Funkturm interchange. According to Messe Berlin, the grounds have 27 halls with around 190,000 m², including the CityCube Berlin and hub27. The former ICC is closed; congresses on the exhibition grounds now take place in the CityCube, which is connected directly to the grounds.
North Entrance and South Entrance
The North Entrance is on Masurenallee at Hammarskjöldplatz, close to the Messe Nord/ICC S-Bahn station and Kaiserdamm underground station. The South Entrance is at the Messe Süd S-Bahn station. Which entrances are open varies from event to event, so we match the drop-off point to your hall plan.
Limited parking
Parking around the grounds is limited, and Messe Berlin itself recommends arriving by taxi or public transport. With a trade fair shuttle, the chauffeur drops your team as close to the entrance as access allows, instead of looking for a parking space.
Airport trade fair shuttle: from BER Airport to Messe Berlin
BER Airport
BER and Messe Berlin are approx. 31 km apart, right across the city – about 32 minutes without traffic. By train, visitors take the Airport Express to the central station and change there to the S-Bahn for Messe Süd. On request, the chauffeur picks your team up at BER and drives to the entrance without any change.
Berlin central station
From the central station (Hauptbahnhof) it is approx. 8 km to the fair, about 16 minutes without traffic. If your team arrives by ICE, we can pick them up at the station on request.
If your team travels on to another city after the fair, our city-to-city transfer from Berlin takes care of it.
Hotel and fair: journey times from Charlottenburg, City West and Mitte
Charlottenburg and Westend
Hotels around the fair are approx. 3 km from the grounds, about 7 minutes without traffic.
City West and Kurfürstendamm
From the Ku’damm it is approx. 4 km, about 7 minutes without traffic.
Mitte and the central station
From Mitte the shuttle covers approx. 8 km, about 16 minutes without traffic; in the morning we build in more buffer here.
Example: a stand team of 20
If a stand team of 20 is staying in Berlin-Mitte, on paper one Sprinter and one Business Van cover them in a single run, without bulky luggage. Each vehicle needs about 16 minutes each way for the approx. 8 km without traffic, so a second run with the same vehicles – for later stand staff, for example – would be possible after about 32 minutes at the earliest. We check availability when you send your request.
Trade fairs in Berlin: ITB, IFA, InnoTrans and more
Messe Berlin hosts ITB Berlin and IFA (both every year), InnoTrans for rail technology (every two years), Bar Convent Berlin and the Smart Country Convention, among others. If your team is staying further out, we plan the shuttle with realistic journey times and buffers.
