Meeting point at BER Airport: arrivals hall and name sign
Arriving at Terminal 1 or Terminal 2
At BER, all flights arrive at Terminal 1 or Terminal 2, which are within walking distance of each other. In Terminal 1, baggage reclaim and the arrivals hall are on arrivals level E0; in Terminal 2, you collect your luggage on the ground floor. Your chauffeur then meets you in the arrivals hall with a name sign.
Your flight number: waiting time from landing
Give us your flight number when you book, and we will monitor your flight and see when your plane actually lands at BER, even if it is running late. The 45 minutes of waiting time included in the fixed price start from that moment. That leaves time for baggage reclaim and the walk to the arrivals hall.
Departures: collection from your address
For your departure, your chauffeur collects you from the address you give when booking and drives you to BER. If you are flying from Terminal 2, allow for a short walk: Terminal 2 has no driveway of its own for vehicles, and the signposted route leads there in a few minutes via arrivals level E0 of Terminal 1. Journeys take longer in rush-hour traffic, so build in a little extra time before your flight.
Berlin Airport transfers to the trade fair and for business travel
From BER to Messe Berlin
BER and the Messe Berlin trade fair grounds in Westend are approx. 31 km apart, about 31 minutes' drive without traffic. For leading trade fairs such as ITB Berlin, InnoTrans, Fruit Logistica or Grüne Woche, your chauffeur takes you from the terminal straight to the exhibition grounds beneath the Funkturm radio tower or to your hotel. The grounds include the North and South entrances as well as the CityCube and hub27 event venues, so ideally choose the entrance or venue of your event as your destination.
Business travel to Mitte and Potsdamer Platz
From the airport it is approx. 26 km to Potsdamer Platz, about 30 minutes without traffic, and approx. 25 km to Alexanderplatz, about 30 minutes. With flight monitoring and a name sign waiting for you, you will not have to look for your driver after landing, and on the way into the city you can make calls or prepare for your meeting. You can also pay by invoice via bank transfer, which is convenient when your company books journeys for staff or guests.
BER Airport: transfer, train or taxi?
Train: FEX and S-Bahn from Terminal 1
The “Flughafen BER” station is directly below Terminal 1. From there, the Airport Express (FEX) runs via Südkreuz and Potsdamer Platz to Hauptbahnhof, and S-Bahn line S9 serves stops including Alexanderplatz and Friedrichstraße. That works well if you are travelling light and your destination is close to one of these stations. With several suitcases, trade fair luggage or a destination away from the lines, changes and walking cost time and energy.
Taxi: ranks in front of Terminal 1
Taxis wait at the North and South taxi ranks in front of Terminal 1 on level E0. You can get in without booking, but you only see which car you get when you reach the rank.
AYDEN transfer: to your door
Your chauffeur meets you with a name sign in the arrivals hall and drives you to your address with no changes. You choose the vehicle class when you book, the price is fixed from then on, and child seats are free of charge on request. If you are travelling as a team or with lots of luggage, or heading to a trade fair on a tight schedule, a transfer is usually the more relaxed choice.
Berlin Airport transfers for teams and groups
Child seats and luggage
Child seats are free of charge on request; just let us know when you book. For lots of luggage, choose the right class: First and Business Class each take 2 bags, the Business Van 6. The price calculator shows you which classes are available for your route from BER.
Groups of up to 17
Up to 6 people can travel together in the Business Van (Mercedes-Benz V-Class). For teams, delegations or tour groups of up to 17, for example on their way from BER to the trade fair, there is the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. It cannot be booked in the price calculator, so please request it using the ‘Request a quote’ form.
