Good to know for business trips in Berlin

Low-emission zone: the area inside the inner S-Bahn ring is a low-emission zone and every vehicle needs a sticker there. The southern section of the city motorway inside the ring is excluded.

BER: the terminal forecourts are free for 10 minutes, up to three times in 8 hours per licence plate; drop-off on the departures level, pick-up on the arrivals level. Vehicles over 3.5 t are not permitted there.

BER: from 1 December 2026, payment at the forecourts and car parks will only be possible by digital means.

BER lies outside the city limits in Schönefeld (Brandenburg) and is reached via the A113: about 27 km to Pariser Platz, about 32 minutes without traffic.
