Good to know for business trips in Hamburg

The diesel through-traffic restrictions introduced in 2018 on Max-Brauer-Allee and Stresemannstraße were lifted in September 2023.

Jungfernstieg has been largely car-free since autumn 2020: only public transport, taxis, sightseeing buses, cyclists and loading/delivery traffic between 9 pm and 11 am may drive through.

Short distances: from the airport in Fuhlsbüttel to Rathausmarkt it is about 11 km, about 19 minutes without traffic; to the Airbus plant in Finkenwerder about 27 km.
