Hamburg as a financial centre: where your roadshow goes
Hamburg is home to the Hamburg Stock Exchange, founded in 1558 and now operated by BÖAG Börsen AG, and the Bundesbank's regional office for Hamburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Schleswig-Holstein; private banks such as Berenberg and M.M.Warburg are headquartered here.

Roadshow day in Hamburg: an example with journey times
A typical roadshow day: pick-up at the hotel (St. Georg – Central Station and Outer Alster). Meeting 1: Inner Alster – Neuer Jungfernstieg and Ballindamm (approx. 2 km, about 4 min without traffic). Meeting 2: Hamburg Stock Exchange (approx. 1 km, about 3 min without traffic). Meeting 3: Deutsche Bundesbank – Regional Office Hamburg (approx. 1 km, about 2 min without traffic). To Hamburg Airport in the evening (approx. 12 km, about 20 min without traffic). Pure driving time without traffic: about 29 min – the rest of the time, the chauffeur waits nearby.
Buffers for Hamburg rush hour
At peak times even the drive from Fuhlsbüttel to the city centre takes longer than the approx. 19 min without traffic. That is why the ride plan has fixed buffers between two investors, matched to your schedule.
Arriving for the roadshow in Hamburg: airport and station
Hamburg Airport (HAM)
Drop-off and pick-up via the Kiss & Fly zone on the departures level; for meeting passengers in the arrivals hall the airport lists car parks P2 to P4 directly opposite the terminals (P2 opposite Terminal 1, P4 opposite Terminal 2). On request, the chauffeur picks up your roadshow team there; we agree the meeting point and waiting time in advance.
Hamburg Central Station (Hamburg Hauptbahnhof)
From the central station to the first meeting place, Inner Alster – Neuer Jungfernstieg and Ballindamm: approx. 1 km, about 3 min without traffic. If your team arrives by train, the chauffeur picks them up right there.
From Hamburg to the next roadshow city
Hamburg → Berlin
Approx. 290 km, about 3 h without traffic, city centre to city centre. Your chauffeur takes the team right to the door of the first investor in Berlin – everything about roadshows there is on our financial roadshow in Berlin page.
Hamburg → Düsseldorf
Approx. 400 km, about 3 h 58 min without traffic, city centre to city centre; with Wi-Fi on board, the long drive stays working time. For the meetings on the Rhine, see our financial roadshow in Düsseldorf page.
Bremen, Kiel or destinations abroad are also reached without changing – more on our city-to-city transfers from Hamburg page.
Good to know for roadshows in Hamburg
Since 2020 only public transport, taxis, city tours, delivery traffic (9 pm–11 am) and cyclists may use Jungfernstieg – so plan chauffeur pick-ups at the Inner Alster on Ballindamm or Neuer Jungfernstieg.
Business hotels close to the financial addresses are mainly in the city centre on Jungfernstieg and the Inner Alster and in St. Georg on the Outer Alster near the Central Station.
The diesel through-traffic restrictions introduced in 2018 on Max-Brauer-Allee and Stresemannstraße were lifted in September 2023.
Short distances: from the airport in Fuhlsbüttel to Rathausmarkt it is about 11 km, about 19 minutes without traffic; to the Airbus plant in Finkenwerder about 27 km.
