Berlin as a financial centre: where your roadshow goes
Berlin is home to the Tradegate Berlin Stock Exchange (Tradegate BSX), formed on 1 January 2026 from the merger of Tradegate Exchange and Börse Berlin, as well as the Bundesbank's Berlin and Brandenburg regional office and the Federal Ministry of Finance.
Pariser Platz and Unter den Linden
At the Brandenburg Gate stands DZ Bank's Berlin building (Pariser Platz 3) with a conference centre, adjoining Dorotheenstadt with office buildings, embassies and hotels. From Berlin Brandenburg Airport: approx. 27 km, about 32 min without traffic.
Tradegate BSX on Kurfürstendamm
Since the merger on 1 January 2026 Berlin's only stock exchange, based at Kurfürstendamm 119 in Halensee. From Berlin Brandenburg Airport: approx. 29 km, about 30 min without traffic.
Deutsche Bundesbank, Berlin and Brandenburg Regional Office
The Bundesbank's regional office at Leibnizstraße 10 in Charlottenburg, which also houses the Berlin branch. From Berlin Brandenburg Airport: approx. 30 km, about 32 min without traffic.
Federal Ministry of Finance (Detlev-Rohwedder-Haus)
The Federal Ministry of Finance's Berlin seat at Wilhelmstraße 97, on the corner of Leipziger Straße. From Berlin Brandenburg Airport: approx. 26 km, about 30 min without traffic.
More meeting places in Berlin: Potsdamer Platz, Adlershof and Potsdam
Besides banks, the exchange and the ministry, company visits in Berlin also lead to these places:
Potsdamer Platz and the Government District
Between Tiergarten and Leipziger Platz lies an office quarter with large spaces for companies, hotels and restaurants; to the north, in the Spreebogen, are the Reichstag building and the Federal Chancellery. From BER: approx. 26 and 28 km.
Adlershof
Science, technology and media hub with around 1,330 companies, research institutes and Humboldt University’s natural sciences campus – only approx. 11 km from BER, about 13 min without traffic.
Potsdam and Grünheide
Brandenburg’s state capital, with the state government, universities and the Babelsberg film city, is approx. 35 km from Pariser Platz (about 38 min without traffic); Tesla’s Gigafactory in Grünheide approx. 41 km (about 46 min). For single meetings there, there is our Berlin chauffeur service.
Roadshow day in Berlin: an example with journey times
A typical roadshow day: pick-up at the hotel (Mitte – Pariser Platz and Gendarmenmarkt). Meeting 1: Pariser Platz and Unter den Linden (approx. 1 km, about 2 min without traffic). Meeting 2: Tradegate BSX on Kurfürstendamm (approx. 8 km, about 14 min without traffic). Meeting 3: Deutsche Bundesbank, Berlin and Brandenburg Regional Office (approx. 3 km, about 6 min without traffic). To Berlin Brandenburg Airport in the evening (approx. 30 km, about 33 min without traffic). Pure driving time without traffic: about 55 min – the rest of the time, the chauffeur waits nearby.
Reserves for closures in Mitte
During state visits and large demonstrations, the traffic information centre (VIZ) reports closures around the Government District and the Brandenburg Gate, and rush hour makes journeys longer anyway. We therefore plan reserves between two investors.
Arriving for the roadshow in Berlin: airport and station
Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER)
Drop-off at the departures-level forecourt, pick-up at the short-stay spaces on the arrivals level in front of Terminal 1 (for Terminal 2 the airport also lists car parks P7 and P8). Sat-nav address: Willy-Brandt-Platz, 12529 Schönefeld. On request, the chauffeur picks up your roadshow team there; we agree the meeting point and waiting time in advance.
Berlin Central Station (Berlin Hauptbahnhof)
From the central station to the first meeting place, Pariser Platz and Unter den Linden: approx. 2 km, about 6 min without traffic. If your team arrives by train, the chauffeur picks them up right there.
From Berlin to the next roadshow city
Berlin → Hamburg
Approx. 292 km, about 3 h 2 min without traffic, city centre to city centre; the back seat leaves time to go through the Hamburg programme. Everything about the roadshow there is on our financial roadshow in Hamburg page.
Leipzig, Dresden, Prague or Hannover are also served directly from Berlin – details on our city-to-city transfers from Berlin page.
Good to know for roadshows in Berlin
During state visits and large demonstrations the traffic information centre (VIZ) announces closures around the government district and the Brandenburg Gate – on such days allow extra time between Mitte and City West.
Business hotels cluster in Mitte around Pariser Platz and Gendarmenmarkt and in City West on Kurfürstendamm – close to the Bundesbank and Tradegate BSX.
Low-emission zone: the area inside the inner S-Bahn ring is a low-emission zone and every vehicle needs a sticker there. The southern section of the city motorway inside the ring is excluded.
BER: the terminal forecourts are free for 10 minutes, up to three times in 8 hours per licence plate; drop-off on the departures level, pick-up on the arrivals level. Vehicles over 3.5 t are not permitted there.
