Koelnmesse in Deutz

Koelnmesse is in Deutz on the right bank of the Rhine, opposite the cathedral and the old town. According to Koelnmesse, the grounds have 18 halls with around 260,000 m² of hall space, plus the Confex and the Congress-Centrum for congresses and conferences.

South, East, West and North Entrances

The South Entrance is right next to Köln Messe/Deutz station, and the East, West and North Entrances are at the Koelnmesse light-rail stop. According to the trade fair company, taxis wait at the entrances; we match your team’s drop-off point to your hall plan.

Low-emission zone

Cologne has a low-emission zone, but according to Koelnmesse the fair entrances can be reached without a sticker. Journeys take longer when a fair opens and in rush hour – we plan departures with a buffer.

Cologne Bonn Airport (CGN)

From Cologne Bonn Airport it is approx. 14 km to Koelnmesse, about 16 minutes without traffic. On request, the chauffeur picks your team up at the terminal and drives straight to the entrance.

Düsseldorf Airport (DUS)

Düsseldorf Airport is another option for arriving. From there it is approx. 57 km to Koelnmesse, about 39 minutes without traffic – with the shuttle, without changing trains.

Cologne central station and Köln Messe/Deutz

From the central station by the cathedral it is approx. 4 km across the Rhine, about 8 minutes without traffic. Köln Messe/Deutz is also an ICE stop, right by the South Entrance.
