Messe Stuttgart at the airport

Messe Stuttgart is on the Filder plateau right next to the airport and the A8 motorway; according to the trade fair company, the terminals are within walking distance. On the central Messepiazza is the ICS International Congress Center Stuttgart, which is part of the grounds.

East Entrance and West Entrance

The East Entrance is on the Messepiazza, a few minutes’ walk from the Flughafen/Messe light-rail terminus; the West Entrance has its own Messe West stop. According to Messe Stuttgart, taxi ranks, VIP access and shuttle stops are in front of the entrances and the ICS.

Sat nav and parking

According to the trade fair company, the sat-nav entry “Flughafenstraße/Flughafen, 70629 Stuttgart” leads to the grounds, and there are around 6,700 parking spaces. With a shuttle there is no need to look for parking: the chauffeur drops your team as close to the entrance as access allows on the fair day.

The grounds are right next to the airport; by car it is approx. 3 km to the entrances. Here an airport trade fair shuttle pays off mainly for luggage, stand material and the onward journey to a hotel in town.

From the central station (Hauptbahnhof) it is approx. 13 km to the fair, about 18 minutes without traffic. By S-Bahn S2 or S3, the trade fair company allows around 27 minutes. If your team arrives by ICE, we can pick them up at the station on request.

Hotels right by the airport and the fair are within walking distance; here the shuttle mainly carries luggage and material.

Leinfelden-Echterdingen

From Leinfelden-Echterdingen it is approx. 3 km, about 6 minutes without traffic.

Stuttgart city centre

From the city centre around the central station it is approx. 13 km, about 18 minutes without traffic. In the morning and at closing time the journey takes longer – we plan with a buffer.
