Meeting point at Stuttgart Airport: arrivals hall and name sign
Four terminals, arrivals on level 2
Stuttgart Airport, which has carried the additional name Manfred Rommel Airport since 2014, has four terminals, Terminal 1 to Terminal 4; the arrivals level is level 2. Your chauffeur waits for you in the arrivals hall holding a sign with your name on it. You will spot them as soon as you come into the hall with your luggage.
Flight monitoring and 45 minutes' waiting time
Using the flight number from your booking, we monitor your flight and can see when your plane actually lands in Stuttgart, whether it is on time or delayed. The 45 minutes of waiting time included in the fixed price only start from that landing. That leaves time for baggage reclaim and the walk to the arrivals hall.
Journeys to Stuttgart Airport
For your departure, enter your pickup address, Stuttgart Airport as your destination and the date and pickup time in the price calculator. Your chauffeur collects you at the agreed time and takes you straight to your terminal. Check-in desks are located in several terminals, so find out in advance which one your airline uses. Allow enough time for check-in and security, plus a buffer in rush-hour traffic.
Stuttgart Airport transfers to the trade fair and for business travel
Messe Stuttgart and the ICS right by the airport
Messe Stuttgart is right next to the airport, and the exhibition grounds also include the International Congress Center Stuttgart (ICS). By car it is only approx. 1 km from the terminal, about 3 minutes without traffic. If you are staying in the city during the fair, your chauffeur drives you to your hotel after landing and back to the terminal for your return flight.
Business trips to Stuttgart
If you are flying to Stuttgart on business, you will not want to lose time after landing. Flight monitoring means we know when you actually land, and the name sign lets you spot your chauffeur in the arrivals hall, whether you are then heading to a meeting in the city centre, to your hotel or to Bad Cannstatt. Companies with regular journeys can pay by invoice via bank transfer.
Onward journeys to other cities
AYDEN operates a chauffeur service at fourteen locations, including Stuttgart, Munich and Frankfurt. If your destination is outside Stuttgart, a city-to-city chauffeur transfer takes you from the airport straight to your address, anywhere in Europe.
Stuttgart Airport: transfer, S-Bahn or taxi?
S-Bahn and U6 light rail
The S-Bahn suburban rail lines S2 and S3 connect the airport with Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof without changes, and the U6 light rail line runs to the Flughafen/Messe stop. With little luggage and a destination near a station, that is a good option. If you are travelling with several suitcases or trade fair luggage, or your destination is off the line, changes and walking add to the journey.
Taxi
The taxi rank is directly in front of Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, and you can take a taxi there without booking. The car you get, and how much room it has for luggage, depends on which taxi is next in line.
AYDEN transfer
Your chauffeur waits with a name sign in the arrivals hall and drives you to the door with no changes, whether to a hotel in the city centre or to your office. The vehicle class and fixed price are settled when you book. This is particularly worthwhile as a team, with lots of luggage or a tight schedule.
Vehicles for your Stuttgart Airport transfer
Saloon or van
Which vehicle class suits you depends on the number of passengers and bags. First Class has room for 2 passengers and 2 bags and Wi-Fi on board, Business Class takes 3 passengers and 2 bags, and the Business Van (Mercedes-Benz V-Class) 6 passengers and 6 bags. The price calculator shows which classes are available for your route from Stuttgart Airport, together with the fixed price for each.
Groups and child seats
For groups of up to 17 there is the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. It cannot be booked in the price calculator, so for 7 passengers or more please use our ‘Request a quote’ form. Child seats are free of charge on request; just let us know when you book.
