Meeting point at Frankfurt Airport: arrivals hall and name sign
Terminal 1 and Terminal 3
Two terminals at Frankfurt Airport are currently open to passengers: Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, which opened in April 2026. Terminal 2 has been closed to passengers since 9 June 2026 for a comprehensive refurbishment, and all the airlines that used to be handled there have moved to Terminal 3.
Pickup in the arrivals hall
In Terminal 1 you arrive on Level 1; in Terminal 3 the arrivals hall is on the ground floor. That is where your chauffeur waits, holding a sign with your name on it. Using the flight number you give us when you book, we track your flight, and the 45 minutes of waiting time in the fixed price only start once you have actually landed.
Journeys to the airport
Before your flight, your chauffeur collects you from your address, be it a hotel, an office or your flat, and takes you straight to your terminal. Check in advance whether your airline departs from Terminal 1 or Terminal 3, as switching takes time: the airport puts the SkyLine train journey from the stations at Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 at around 10 to 15 minutes. Roads are slower at peak times, so build in some spare time.
Frankfurt Airport transfers to the trade fair and the banking district
Messe Frankfurt
From the airport to Messe Frankfurt on Ludwig-Erhard-Anlage it is approx. 16 km, about 15 minutes without traffic. For arrivals by taxi or car from the airport, Messe Frankfurt lists the City Entrance/Festhalle, the Galleria Entrance and the Portalhaus Entrance, as well as the Congress Center and Kap Europa. By S-Bahn, by contrast, you change at the central station from the S8 or S9 to the S3, S4, S5 or S6 for Messe station.
Banking district and business meetings
To Willy-Brandt-Platz in the banking district it is approx. 14 km, about 17 minutes without traffic. Because we track your flight and your chauffeur waits in the arrivals hall with a name sign, there is no need to look for your driver after landing. Companies and business travellers can also pay by invoice via bank transfer.
Frankfurt Airport: transfer, S-Bahn or taxi?
S-Bahn and bus
From the regional station on the underground level of Terminal 1, S-Bahn lines S8 and S9 run to Frankfurt central station; from Terminal 3, you first take the free SkyLine train to the stations at Terminal 1. Bus line 61 also runs from both terminals towards Südbahnhof. For travellers with little luggage and a destination near the line, that is a good choice, but with trade fair luggage and several suitcases, changes soon become tiring.
Taxi
According to the airport, taxis are available around the clock at both terminals and at the long-distance station. You only see which car you get, however, when it is your turn at the taxi rank.
AYDEN transfer
With a transfer, your chauffeur meets you with a name sign in the arrivals hall and drives you straight to your address with no changes. The vehicle class and fixed price are settled when you book, and child seats are free of charge on request. Especially as a team, with lots of luggage or a tight schedule, this is the more relaxed way to travel.
