Your transfer between Regensburg and the airports

To and from the airport

With the AYDEN transfer from Munich Airport to Regensburg, your chauffeur takes you from the arrivals hall straight to your address in Regensburg or the surrounding district – and back to Munich (MUC) or Nuremberg (NUE): a car just for you, a certified chauffeur and a price that is settled the moment you book.

Two airports to choose from

Regensburg has no airport with scheduled flights. From the central station it is approx. 104 km to Munich Airport, about 69 minutes without traffic via the B 15n and the A 92, and approx. 110 km and about 72 minutes to Nuremberg Airport via the A 3. Which of the two suits you usually depends on your flight.

Arrival and booking

When you land in Munich, your chauffeur waits with a name sign in the arrivals hall of Terminal 1 or 2, and 45 minutes from the actual landing are included in the fixed price. You can book your ride around the clock in the price calculator – for colleagues and guests too.

Three promises for your Regensburg airport transfer

Fixed price, flight monitoring and a name sign – you can rely on all three on every journey.

Fixed price instead of a running meter

With AYDEN there is no meter ticking away: the price of your airport transfer is fixed when you book. Traffic jams on the way to the terminal or a diversion make no difference.

The price depends on the route and the vehicle class, and the price calculator shows you the exact amount straight away. All prices include VAT.

Flight monitoring and 45 minutes’ waiting time

When we collect you from the airport, we monitor your flight. All you need to do is enter your flight number when you book. That way we can see when your plane actually lands, whether it is early or late.

The fixed price includes 45 minutes of waiting time from the actual landing time. If your flight is delayed, the 45 minutes only start once you have actually landed – time to collect your luggage and make your way to the arrivals hall.

Pickup with a name sign in the arrivals hall

For airport pickups, your chauffeur waits for you in the arrivals hall with a name sign. There is no taxi rank to find and no queue to join: once you have your luggage, head into the arrivals hall and walk to the car together with your chauffeur.

This is particularly helpful if you are travelling with lots of luggage, or if you are booking a transfer for guests who do not know the airport.

Routes and journey times

Routes from Regensburg to Munich and Nuremberg airports

The board lists rides from typical addresses in Regensburg and the district, each with kilometres and pure driving time. “Calculate price” opens the price calculator with exactly this route, where you see the fixed price for every available vehicle class.

Distances and journey times: route calculation based on OpenStreetMap (OSRM, © OpenStreetMap contributors), without traffic, as of October 2026. Journeys take longer in rush hour.

Munich Airport to Regensburg: distance, journey time and meeting point

The route to Munich Airport

Without traffic, the fastest route from Regensburg central station to Munich Airport runs via the A 93, the B 15n and the A 92: approx. 104 km in about 69 minutes. Rush hour and roadworks make it longer. If you fly early in the morning, set your pick-up time with a generous margin.

Arrival at Terminal 1 or 2

After landing in Munich, your chauffeur stands in the arrivals hall of your terminal holding a sign with your name. We follow the flight using the flight number from your booking, and your 45 minutes of waiting time only begin once the aircraft has actually landed. That leaves enough time for the baggage belt.

Airport shuttle or private transfer from Regensburg?

Shared shuttles also run between Regensburg and Munich Airport. They pool several passengers in one vehicle, which can mean extra stops at other addresses and waiting times. On a business trip, other things tend to matter: being at the terminal on time, taking calls undisturbed, talking in confidence.

What the AYDEN private transfer offers

Only you and your party are in the car. Your chauffeur collects you at your address at the time you choose and drives to the terminal without stopping. Flight monitoring, 45 minutes of waiting after landing and the name sign in the arrivals hall are included in the fixed price; companies can pay by invoice on request.

Business trips and congresses: from the airport to your meeting in Regensburg

Offices and plants

Many meetings take place outside the old town: in the Gewerbepark business park in the north-east of the city (approx. 110 km to Munich Airport, about 72 minutes without traffic), at the BMW plant in Harting in the south-east (approx. 109 km, about 69 minutes) or in Neutraubling (approx. 103 km, about 72 minutes). From the terminal your chauffeur takes you straight to your destination address.

University, hospital and marinaforum

From the University of Regensburg and the University Hospital in the south of the city it is approx. 104 and 101 km to Munich Airport. Conferences and congresses are held at venues such as the marinaforum, a conference centre in an industrial heritage building in the Marina quarter east of the old town; from there it is approx. 107 km and about 72 minutes without traffic to MUC.

Teams and delegations

If several colleagues arrive together, the Business Van seats 6 passengers with 6 pieces of luggage; for groups of up to 17, request the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. We invoice regular rides for companies.

Munich Airport to the Regensburg cruise port: group transfers for river cruises

Danube river cruise ships moor in Regensburg close to the old town. When a cruise starts or ends here, tour operators, cruise lines and incoming agencies can plan their guests’ transfers to and from Munich Airport with us: approx. 105 km, about 72 minutes without traffic.

Sprinter and several vehicles

For groups of up to 17, request the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter; larger groups are split across several vehicles, both by quote. The flight numbers let us keep an eye on every arrival. Luggage volume, the embarkation time window and the ship’s berth are agreed with you in advance.

Pick-up in the Regensburg district: Pentling, Neutraubling, Lappersdorf and Regenstauf

Beyond the city limits we also collect you right at your address. To Munich Airport it is approx. 95 km from Pentling (about 62 minutes without traffic), approx. 103 km from Neutraubling (about 72 minutes), approx. 112 km from Lappersdorf (about 76 minutes) and approx. 123 km from Regenstauf (about 85 minutes).

Alternatives: Nuremberg Airport, Frankfurt, Memmingen and the train

Nuremberg Airport to Regensburg

Albrecht Dürer Airport Nuremberg is approx. 110 km from Regensburg central station, about 72 minutes without traffic, almost entirely via the A 3 – hardly further than Munich. You can book this route at a fixed price in the price calculator too; we agree the meeting point for pick-ups in Nuremberg with you.

Frankfurt and Memmingen

For long-haul flights from Frankfurt we drive you there as well: approx. 330 km, about 3 hours 10 minutes without traffic. Memmingen’s Allgäu Airport is approx. 233 km and about 2 hours 25 minutes away.

By train: the ÜFEX airport express

According to Deutsche Bahn (as of October 2026), the Überregionaler Flughafenexpress (ÜFEX, RE 22) links Regensburg central station with Munich Airport every hour without a change. A transfer pays off above all if you travel with a lot of luggage, fly very early or want to work on the way, because it starts at your door rather than on the platform.

No airport with scheduled flights in Regensburg

Regensburg-Oberhub airfield near Regenstauf, north of the city, serves general aviation and is operated by the Motorfluggruppe Regensburg; no scheduled flights depart from there.
