Messe Frankfurt and Kap Europa

The Messe Frankfurt grounds include the Festhalle and the Congress Center Messe Frankfurt, and the Kap Europa congress building in the Europaviertel is also part of Messe Frankfurt. From the airport it is approx. 13 km, about 12 minutes without traffic, and only approx. 3 km from the central station.

Alte Oper and the city centre

The Alte Oper in the city centre also hires out its halls for congresses and corporate events. It is approx. 2 km from the central station and approx. 13 km from the airport, about 14 minutes without traffic.

Stadium, Jahrhunderthalle and THE SQUAIRE

At approx. 8 km, the Deutsche Bank Park in the Stadtwald is close to the airport, and the myticket Jahrhunderthalle Frankfurt in the west of the city is approx. 12 km away. Right at the airport, above the long-distance station, THE SQUAIRE offers space for conferences and events.

How your guests arrive: Frankfurt Airport and the central station

Frankfurt Airport

The airport lies to the south-west of the city, approx. 15 km from the central station (about 14 minutes without traffic). Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, which opened in April 2026, are in operation; Terminal 2 has been closed for refurbishment since 9 June 2026.

Frankfurt (Main) Hauptbahnhof

Anyone arriving by train is picked up at the central station on request. Kap Europa is only approx. 1 km away, the Alte Oper approx. 2 km.

Drop-off in front of the terminals

There is a drop-off area in front of the terminals, free for up to 10 minutes twice per calendar day. Terminal 3 in the south has its own access road from the A5 – so your guests’ departure terminal should be settled before the return trip.

Gateway Gardens and THE SQUAIRE

Next to the airport is an office, conference and hotel quarter with corporate headquarters; THE SQUAIRE above the long-distance station is directly connected to Terminal 1. From the airport to the Deutsche Bank Park it is only approx. 8 km.

Banking district and Westend

If your guests stay in the city centre, distances are short: from the central station it is approx. 1 km to the banking district and approx. 2 km to the Westend. Meetings before or after the event are covered by the Frankfurt chauffeur service, by the hour too.

Vehicles and planning for your event in Frankfurt

For evening events in the city centre, at the Alte Oper for example, we stagger departures from the hotels so that not every vehicle pulls up at the entrance at once.

Example: 40 guests to the Jahrhunderthalle

If 40 guests are to travel from the airport to the myticket Jahrhunderthalle, that comes to two Sprinters and one Business Van. For the approx. 12 km, each vehicle needs about 11 minutes each way without traffic, so a second round would be possible after about 22 minutes. We tell you with the quote whether the vehicles are free.

For group journeys by the hour, by the day or over several days, there is our minibus with driver.

If some guests travel on to Cologne, Stuttgart or Luxembourg after the event, book our city-to-city transfer from Frankfurt.

Yes. A city-to-city transfer brings them to the venue without changing; from Cologne, for example, it is approx. 189 km. Speakers from abroad can arrive this way too; for a quote we need the pick-up point, time and number of guests.
