Good to know for roadshows in Cologne
On Koelnmesse trade fair days Deutz around MesseCity is heavily congested – check the trade fair calendar before roadshow meetings on the right bank of the Rhine and allow extra time.
Business hotels are located in the city centre around the cathedral and central station – close to Unter Sachsenhausen – and in Deutz / MesseCity right by Köln Messe/Deutz station.
Since its 2019 extension, Cologne's low-emission zone covers around 137 km², almost the entire city; vehicles with a green sticker may enter.
