Frankfurt as a financial centre: where your roadshow goes
Frankfurt is home to the European Central Bank, the Deutsche Bundesbank, one of BaFin's two offices, the EU Anti-Money Laundering Authority (AMLA) and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange with Europe's last active trading floor.
Banking district (Bankenviertel)
High-rise quarter along Gallusanlage, Taunusanlage and Neue Mainzer Strasse with the headquarters of major banks, plus asset managers, law firms and advisers in the adjoining Westend. From Frankfurt Airport: approx. 13 km, about 15 min without traffic.

European Central Bank (ECB)
The ECB's main building at Sonnemannstrasse 20 in Frankfurt's east end, built on the site of the former Grossmarkthalle wholesale market hall. From Frankfurt Airport: approx. 13 km, about 16 min without traffic.
BaFin – Frankfurt office
Frankfurt office of the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority at Marie-Curie-Strasse 24–28 in the Mertonviertel (Niederursel); its second office is in Bonn. From Frankfurt Airport: approx. 25 km, about 18 min without traffic.
More meeting places in Frankfurt: Westend, Gateway Gardens and Wiesbaden
Besides the banking district, the exchange and the supervisors, meetings also lead to these addresses:
Westend
Westend-Süd has more office towers along Bockenheimer Anlage and Mainzer Landstraße than anywhere else in the city; Westend-Nord is home to Goethe University’s Campus Westend. From Frankfurt Airport: approx. 15 km, about 15 min without traffic.
Gateway Gardens and THE SQUAIRE
Office, conference and hotel quarter at the airport with corporate headquarters from aviation and logistics; THE SQUAIRE above the long-distance station is directly linked to Terminal 1 – handy for a meeting between landing and the onward journey. From the airport: approx. 3 km, about 5 min without traffic.
Wiesbaden and Darmstadt
Wiesbaden, the state capital of Hesse, is the seat of the state government and ministries (approx. 39 km from the city centre, about 31 min without traffic); Darmstadt, the “City of Science”, has universities and research institutions (approx. 33 km, about 31 min without traffic). Book such single meetings by the hour through our Frankfurt chauffeur service.
Roadshow day in Frankfurt: an example with journey times
A typical roadshow day: pick-up at the hotel (Europaviertel and trade fair grounds). Meeting 1: Banking district (approx. 4 km, about 7 min without traffic). Meeting 2: Frankfurt Stock Exchange (approx. 1 km, about 3 min without traffic). Meeting 3: European Central Bank (approx. 3 km, about 7 min without traffic). To Frankfurt Airport in the evening (approx. 21 km, about 21 min without traffic). Pure driving time without traffic: about 38 min – the rest of the time, the chauffeur waits nearby.
Reserves between the Westend, the banking district and the Ostend
At peak times these journeys take longer than the values without traffic. So we set a reserve between two investors and match it to your schedule.
Arriving for the roadshow in Frankfurt: airport and station
Frankfurt Airport
Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 are in operation (Terminal 2 closed for refurbishment since 9 June 2026). Drop-off area directly in front of the terminals: free for up to 10 minutes twice per calendar day. Stopping on the Terminal 1 arrivals level is limited; the airport asks pick-ups to use the car park. Terminal 3 has its own drop-off zone right in front of the building and direct access from the A5 motorway. On request, the chauffeur picks up your roadshow team there; we agree the meeting point and waiting time in advance.
Frankfurt (Main) Central Station (Hauptbahnhof)
From the central station to the first meeting place, Banking district: approx. 1 km, about 3 min without traffic. If your team arrives by train, the chauffeur picks them up right there.
From Frankfurt to the next roadshow city
Frankfurt → Cologne
Approx. 190 km, about 2 h 5 min without traffic, city centre to city centre: the team gets in in the banking district and out at its first meeting in Cologne. How the roadshow continues there is on our financial roadshow in Cologne page.
Frankfurt → Stuttgart
Approx. 204 km, about 2 h 15 min without traffic, city centre to city centre – enough time to prepare the next meetings in the back seat. Meetings and routes there: our financial roadshow in Stuttgart page.

Good to know for roadshows in Frankfurt
The ECB in Frankfurt's east end (Sonnemannstrasse) and BaFin in the Mertonviertel are several kilometres outside the banking district, and AMLA is based in the MesseTurm at the trade fair – schedule these appointments with a driving buffer between meetings in the banking district.
Business hotels close to the financial district are concentrated in the city centre around the banking district and Westend, and in the Europaviertel next to the trade fair grounds.
Frankfurt's low-emission zone covers the area inside the motorway ring (A5, A3, A661); the motorways themselves are excluded. Since 2012 only vehicles with a green sticker may enter. The airport lies outside this ring.
