Your transfer between Frankfurt Airport and Wiesbaden

To and from the airport

With the AYDEN transfer from Frankfurt Airport to Wiesbaden, your chauffeur takes you from the arrivals hall straight to the Hessian state capital and back to Frankfurt (FRA): a car just for you and your guests, a certified chauffeur and a price that is settled the moment you book.

Arrival in Frankfurt

Wiesbaden has no airport with scheduled flights; you fly from Frankfurt. From Terminal 1 it is approx. 31 km to Wiesbaden central station, about 24 minutes without traffic via the A 3 and the A 66. In rush hour this short route can take considerably longer, which is why we plan pick-up times with a buffer.

Pick-up and booking

When you land in Frankfurt, your chauffeur waits with a name sign in the arrivals hall of Terminal 1 or Terminal 3, and 45 minutes from the actual landing are included in the fixed price. You can book around the clock in the price calculator – for guests, speakers and delegations too.

Three promises for your Wiesbaden airport transfer

Fixed price, flight monitoring and a name sign – you can rely on all three on every journey.

Fixed price instead of a running meter

With AYDEN there is no meter ticking away: the price of your airport transfer is fixed when you book. Traffic jams on the way to the terminal or a diversion make no difference.

The price depends on the route and the vehicle class, and the price calculator shows you the exact amount straight away. All prices include VAT.

Flight monitoring and 45 minutes’ waiting time

When we collect you from the airport, we monitor your flight. All you need to do is enter your flight number when you book. That way we can see when your plane actually lands, whether it is early or late.

The fixed price includes 45 minutes of waiting time from the actual landing time. If your flight is delayed, the 45 minutes only start once you have actually landed – time to collect your luggage and make your way to the arrivals hall.

Pickup with a name sign in the arrivals hall

For airport pickups, your chauffeur waits for you in the arrivals hall with a name sign. There is no taxi rank to find and no queue to join: once you have your luggage, head into the arrivals hall and walk to the car together with your chauffeur.

This is particularly helpful if you are travelling with lots of luggage, or if you are booking a transfer for guests who do not know the airport.

Frankfurt Airport to Wiesbaden: route, journey time and terminals

Via the A 3 and the A 66

From Terminal 1 the fastest route to Wiesbaden runs via the A 3 and the A 66: approx. 31 km to the central station, about 24 minutes without traffic. In the other direction it is approx. 27 km and about 22 minutes, and approx. 33 km and about 26 minutes from the central station to Terminal 3 in the south of the airport. Roadworks and rush hour quickly add time, so for early departures we set the pick-up time generously.

Terminal 1 or Terminal 3

Frankfurt Airport currently handles passengers in Terminal 1 and the new Terminal 3. Check before the ride which terminal your airline uses: your chauffeur drives you straight to the right departures hall, so there is no need to change to the SkyLine train between the terminals.

After landing in Frankfurt: how to find your chauffeur

In Terminal 1 you arrive on Level 1; in Terminal 3 the arrivals hall is on the ground floor. That is where your chauffeur stands, holding a sign with your name on it. Using the flight number from your booking we track the flight, and the 45 minutes of waiting time only start at the actual landing – enough time for passport control and baggage reclaim.

Meeting guests and delegations

If you are collecting clients, speakers or a delegation, book the ride in your guest’s name. The chauffeur meets them in the arrivals hall and takes them without detours to Wiesbaden, to their hotel or straight to the meeting. Companies with regular rides pay by invoice.

State capital, federal authorities and congresses: meetings in Wiesbaden

Government district and city centre

Wiesbaden is home to the Hessian State Parliament, the State Chancellery and the state ministries. From the State Parliament on Schlossplatz it is approx. 28 km to Frankfurt Airport, about 23 minutes without traffic; from the city centre on Wilhelmstraße approx. 27 km and about 22 minutes. The Federal Statistical Office is also based here: approx. 26 km and about 20 minutes from Gustav-Stresemann-Ring to Terminal 1.

RheinMain CongressCenter and Kurhaus

Larger congresses and conferences take place at the RheinMain CongressCenter on Friedrich-Ebert-Allee. According to the City of Wiesbaden it offers 45 halls, rooms and studios and space for up to 12,500 visitors throughout the building. From the RMCC it is approx. 27 km to the airport (about 22 minutes), from the Kurhaus approx. 28 km (about 24 minutes).

Teams and congress guests

When speakers, delegates or a whole team arrive via Frankfurt, we plan the pick-ups by flight number. The Business Van seats 6 passengers with 6 pieces of luggage; for groups of up to 17 people, ask for the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, and we agree several vehicles with you by quote.

Pick-ups in Biebrich, Kastel, Nordenstadt and the surrounding area

Outside the city centre, too, we collect you at your address. To Frankfurt Airport it is approx. 28 km from Biebrich Palace on the Rhine (about 22 minutes without traffic), approx. 30 km from Schierstein (about 23 minutes), approx. 24 km from Erbenheim (about 18 minutes) and approx. 20 km from Nordenstadt (about 16 minutes). Amöneburg, Kastel and Kostheim on the right bank of the Rhine also belong to Wiesbaden; from Mainz-Kastel it is approx. 27 km (about 23 minutes). From Taunusstein it is approx. 38 km (about 35 minutes), from Eltville in the Rheingau approx. 38 km (about 28 minutes).

Alternatives: S-Bahn, Frankfurt-Hahn and Cologne Bonn

By S-Bahn and regional train

According to Frankfurt Airport, the regional station on the lower level of Terminal 1 links the airport directly with Wiesbaden; S-Bahn lines S8 (via Mainz central station) and S9 (via Mainz-Kastel) and regional trains stop there. If you fly from Terminal 3, you continue from the station on the SkyLine train. A transfer, by contrast, starts at your door and ends at the terminal – even with plenty of luggage or for the first flight of the morning. Unlike a shared shuttle, it carries only you and your guests, with no stops on the way.

Frankfurt-Hahn Airport

Frankfurt-Hahn Airport lies in the Hunsrück, approx. 91 km from Wiesbaden central station, about 65 minutes without traffic. You can book this route at a fixed price in the price calculator too; we agree the meeting point for pick-ups there with you.

Cologne Bonn Airport

For flights from Cologne Bonn we drive you there as well: approx. 153 km, about 1 hour 40 minutes without traffic via the A 3.
