What is a financial roadshow?
A financial roadshow is a series of presentations and one-on-one meetings in which the board, CFO and investor relations present their company to institutional investors – fund managers, banks, insurers or family offices. The meetings usually take place in the investors’ offices, often several a day and in several cities one after another.
Deal roadshow
It accompanies a transaction: an initial public offering (IPO), a capital increase or a bond issue. The schedule is tight because the offering is to be placed within a few days.
Non-deal roadshow
It maintains investor relations without selling anything – for example after quarterly or annual results. Punctuality matters here too, because investors’ meeting slots are short.
How we plan your roadshow
1. Send us the schedule
Tell us the cities, dates, participants and – as soon as you know them – the investors’ addresses. The quickest way is our request form; you can also email the schedule later.
2. Ride plan and quote
We calculate the journey times between meetings, plan buffers and vehicles for each city and send you one quote for the whole roadshow. One dedicated contact stays responsible until the last meeting.
3. The roadshow day
The chauffeur picks you up at the hotel, airport or station, waits outside every meeting and drives you to the next one. If a meeting moves, you agree the change directly with us – no call centre.
4. On to the next city
At the end of the day you go to the airport, the station or by car straight to the next roadshow city.
Roadshows across several cities: car, train or plane
When two financial centres are close together, the car is often the most direct link – door to door, without changing and with time for calls. Between Düsseldorf and Cologne, for example, it is approx. 40 km, about 35 min without traffic; between Frankfurt and Stuttgart approx. 204 km, about 2 h 15 min.
For long distances, combine the roadshow with train or plane: we pick you up on arrival and take you to the first meeting. You can also book rides between two cities on their own on our city-to-city page.
Confidentiality on the roadshow
Before a transaction, names, meetings and what is discussed are confidential. AYDEN chauffeurs are bound to confidentiality; on request we sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) for your roadshow.
Our chauffeurs speak German and English and wear suits. There is Wi-Fi in the vehicle so you can work between meetings.
Financial roadshows in eight financial cities
AYDEN runs roadshows in Frankfurt, Munich, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Berlin, Stuttgart, Cologne and Vienna. Each city page shows the financial centres, the airport, the station and journey times between typical meeting places. We confirm which vehicles are available locally on your date when you send your request.
