From Brussels Airport to the city: meeting point and times
Brussels Airport (BRU): one terminal, one meeting point
The airport lies in Zaventem, north-east of Brussels (French Bruxelles, Dutch Brussel), and works with one terminal under one roof. Your chauffeur waits with a name sign in the arrivals hall – whichever airline you land with. To the Schuman roundabout it is approx. 13 km, about 15 minutes without traffic, to the Grand-Place approx. 15 km, about 22 minutes. All airports with their own page are listed in our airport transfer overview.
Stations and city centre
From the airport to Brussels-South station (Bruxelles-Midi) it is approx. 16 km, about 22 minutes without traffic, to Brussels-Central station (Bruxelles-Central) near the Grand-Place approx. 14 km, about 19 minutes. The airport station lies below the terminal; besides your chauffeur, trains also run from there into the city.
Allow time
In rush hour the ride between the airport and the city centre can take much longer. We plan pick-ups with a buffer and track your flight so that your chauffeur is at the meeting point for the actual landing.
Delegations in the European Quarter around the Schuman roundabout
Around the Schuman roundabout
In the European Quarter (Quartier européen), the Berlaymont building – the seat of the European Commission – stands on the Schuman roundabout, and across the Rue de la Loi the Europa building, home of the European Council and the Council of the EU. From the airport to the roundabout it is approx. 13 km, about 15 minutes without traffic.
European Parliament in the Espace Léopold
The European Parliament has its Brussels building in the Espace Léopold on Rue Wiertz, approx. 2 km from the Schuman roundabout, about 6 minutes without traffic, and approx. 13 km from the airport, about 18 minutes.
Delegations and groups
If a delegation travels with several people, we can run several vehicles to an agreed schedule: First and Business Class saloons for the head of the delegation, Business Vans for up to 6 people and the Sprinter for up to 17. We agree stopping points, time windows and order with you in advance.
Between meetings
When you book by the hour, the chauffeur stays close and drives you from meeting to meeting – from the hotel to the European Quarter, on to lunch in the city centre and back in the afternoon.
Trade fairs and congresses: Brussels Expo at Heysel
Brussels Expo (Heysel)
The Brussels Expo exhibition and congress centre lies on the Heysel plateau in the north of the city and has twelve halls. From the airport it is approx. 14 km, about 15 minutes without traffic via the Brussels ring road, from the Schuman roundabout approx. 9 km, about 17 minutes.
Event days by the hour
For events at Heysel it pays to settle the rides in advance. Hire your chauffeur by the hour and they drive you between the exhibition centre, your hotel and meetings in the city; for stand teams and delegations we put together a schedule with several vehicles.
